The
2009-2010 school year marked Rebecca's fifth year of teaching Second
Grade to inner-city students. Rebecca Kee guided students to improve
their reading fluency scores by an average of 86% per student
from September 2008 - May 2009. 50% of Ms. Kee's class scored proficient or above in Language Arts (school average is 22%) and a whopping 80% scored that in Math (District average is 65%)! Rebecca is eager for this year's test results to come in. Currently Rebecca is on maternity leave for the 2010-2011 school year, but she will be assisting as a volunteer at the school as much as possible.
