2009 Walk-a-Thon

Here is a big hug of thanks to all of the teachers and staff, students and parents, neighbors and friends who helped make our second annual Walkathon a roaring success. We had a great turnout, with not only our families but also other members of our community joining us. It was hard work, and everyone contributed to making it a fun and successful day.  How awesome to see you all dancing together!

We're still counting funds, but earlier in the day with pledges and bids still coming in, we had raised nearly $6,000. We'll get the final results out to you ASAP.

Mandamos un abrazo grande de agradecimiento a todos los maestros y administradores, los papas y alumnos, y los vecinos y amigos por su ayuda en hacer la segunda Caminata un exito total. Tuvimos mucha participacion de nuestras familias y otros miembros de la comunidad. Fue un labor grande, y todos contribuyeron a hacerlo un dia divertido y exitoso. Tan bonito ver a todos bailando juntos!

Todavia estamos revisando los ingresos, pero antes cuando todavia se estaba recibiendo donaciones, habiamos recaudado alrededor de $6,000. Les avisaremos cuando tengamos los numeros finales.
