Paul Revere Partners with Soul Shoppe to Address Bullying Issues Head-on

Bullying in school is a very serious problem that can make the life of a young student miserable.  As part of our commitment to the social and emotional well being of our students, Paul Revere has partnered with an organization called Soul Shoppe whose stated goal is, as their tagline says, "keeping schools safe and bully-free."  Soul Shoppe came in for a day last week to put on assemblies to educate our kids about what it means to be a bully and what is the best way to handle a bullying situation.

In addition to the Soul Shoppe assemblies, Paul Revere Elementary is also investing in professional development of faculty and staff members on how to coach the kids involved with bullying - both on the victims and the bullies.  Using these restorative practices, we hope to make Paul Revere a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students.
