Preparations Are Underway for this Year's Latino Heritage Celebration!

Our newly created Arts Committee has been hard at work with the Young Audiences-Northern California organization planning this year's Latino Heritage night!  This is the first of the three Heritage festivals that we celebrate every year at Paul Revere.  This year, the professional, community-based artists from Young Audiences will be doing three 1-hour workshops with each class in the school.  All of the kids will be learning a Latino song or dance, and everyone in the community will be invited to see what they've accomplished together at the Latino Heritage assembly on Friday, October 23rd.

Many thanks to the school's grant writing committee, whose work last year was instrumental in securing the funds for this event and to our Community School Coordinator Lorraine Orlandi in particular for her undying dedication to weaving Paul Revere into the community.  Looking forward to the big event next month!
