PTA Shows Appreciation for School Staff with 'Soup'-er Lunch

On Tuesday, November 10th one of our dedicated PTA board members offered up her home (which is conveniently located right across the street from the Paul Revere campus) to host the yearly Staff Appreciation Lunch.  But more that just offering up her home, Karen Dickenson who is also our PTA secretary and is rapidly becoming the go-to resource for creative designs and themes for events transformed her kitchen and dining room into a Super Hero themed wonderland.

But the decorations didn't stop there: Karen also busted out the PhotoShop and demonstrated just how super we think our teachers are - by giving them all super hero makeovers!

And for those faculty and staff who couldn't get away, we even offered delivery service.  The menu consisted of many types of delicious soup lovingly prepared by the PTA volunteers, along with bread, salad, and fruit. And then there was the mystery tank just labeled "Kryptonite".  Not really sure what was in there but the Veteran's Day holiday tomorrow will give us all a chance to recover from it.

And teachers and staff, let me just take one more opportunity to thank you for all that you do for our kids.  We all know that it can be quite challenging at times, but your dedication to the task of educating and looking out for our young people is truly inspirational and dearly appreciated!
