On Thursday, February 6, 2014, Paul Revere K-5 students participated in an event called the "African-American Read-In" where volunteers visited classrooms to read stories or poems from prominent African American authors.  The purpose of the event is to "make the celebration of African-American literacy a traditional part of Black History Month activities."

This event is the first of many that students at Paul Revere will be participating in during Black History Month, as we build up to our school-wide African-American Heritage Celebration on Friday, February 21.
