This coming Wednesday evening, March 26, 2014 from 5:00 - 6:00pm our middle school is having our 1st Annual Academic Debate where mixed teams of 6th–8th graders and staff (Ms. Afflick, Mr. Campos, Mr. Russitano and Ms. Pooner) will debate the controversial topic of Assisted Suicide. We want as many people from our school community as possible to attend this event to support our students as they have been preparing very hard.
This is a reminder that the SSC is having a meeting tonight (March 5, 2015) at 5:15. This will be an important meeting in which we will review the budget for next year and will discuss how to prioritize/ assign funding to initiatives supporting the 5 school goals.
The SSC is in the process of creating this year's Balanced Scorecard and setting priorities for the 2014-15 school year, and we are seeking input from the community. The meeting for gathering this input will happen tonight (2/26) in the Community room. Please come if you are able -- all are welcome!
